Alan Olav Walker (Born August 24, 1997) is an English-Norwegian record producer, born in Northampton, England. He is famous for his electronic dance music single “Faded” which has reached number 1 in several countries, and on YouTube has over 630 million viewers and 3.85 million likes, placing it among the 40 most favored YouTube videos.
Early career
Born in Northampton, Walker moved to Bergen, Norway, with his Norwegian mother and his British father at the age of two. Growing in the digital age, Walker found his interest in computers that later turned into an attraction for programming and graphic design. Walker has no musical history, but he later taught himself by exploring YouTube videos about music production. [1] In 2012 he started making music on his laptop and his songs soon attracted the attention of record labels.
